The perfectly balanced X24 Splitting Axe M offers ultimate swing and splitting power with a single stroke. The ultra-sharp and innovative forged blade cuts wood more efficiently. The blade is also double-hardened to ensure the sharp, precise ground edge stays sharp longer. The wider blade and groove add power and make it easier to remove the axe. The friction-reducing coating allows the blade to glide effortlessly through the wood and prevents rust. The over-molded axe head joint is securely fastened to the handle. The X-Series™ axes are virtually unbreakable and feature a lightweight yet extremely durable FiberComp™ handle that absorbs shock and prevents overstrike. The curved handle keeps the wrist in a comfortable, neutral position. A larger-than-usual SoftGrip™ coated area on the handle provides a firm grip, while the curved end of the handle enhances work safety before, during, and after a swing.
